A good-value Beyoğlu base, but small rooms and noise make room choice important.
Pera Arya is a simple 3-star city hotel just off Istiklal Avenue, best used as a base for exploring rather than somewhere to linger. We'd consider it for a budget-conscious city break: recent Expedia and Trip.com guests frequently praise cleanliness, helpful staff and the location near restaurants, Galata Tower and transit. Expedia's newer feedback is substantially better than Tripadvisor's mostly older, poor reviews; one July 2025 guest described the hotel as newly revamped.
The trade-offs are compact rooms, windows that can face a nearby wall, and recurring reports of nighttime noise or loud air conditioning. Breakfast gets mixed verdicts. A July 2026 guest also reported renovation noise beside their room; whether that work continues is unconfirmed. Confirm your room's outlook, current works and lift access before booking, since listings disagree about the elevator. We'd skip it for light sleepers or anyone needing generous space and reliably step-free access.
Axel's opinion, from the hotel's website and recent guest reviews, scored for what the hotel is. Sources: Hotel website · Expedia · Trip.com · Tripadvisor · Google · en.planetofhotels.com. Reviewed Oct 10, 2026.
