This intimate five-star occupies a converted prison minutes from Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, and it’s a strong pick for sightseeing without sacrificing luxury. Recent Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise attentive staff, comfortable rooms and meticulous housekeeping. The landscaped courtyard and rooftop terrace give the historic setting real appeal; we’d choose it for a first Istanbul visit or a special occasion.
