Axel's take: 7.8/10

Roomy suites and friendly staff make it practical, but the pool is currently closed. a mid-range, all-suite downtown hotel, scored for what it is.

This mid-range, all-suite hotel is a strong pick for convention visitors and families who want extra space downtown. Separate living areas, included made-to-order breakfast and an evening reception give it a useful edge over standard hotel rooms. Recent Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, clean accommodations and breakfast. The convention-center skywalk connection and walkable access to restaurants and sporting venues are the main reasons to choose it.

The trade-offs are arrival logistics, paid parking and occasional reports of worn rooms and elevator delays. Most importantly, Booking.com and Expedia list the indoor pool as closed September 1–December 31, 2026; a September guest also reports the hot tub closed. We'd skip it for a swimming-focused family break, but otherwise it's a practical downtown base rather than a polished retreat.

• Best for: convention attendees; families needing separate living space; downtown sports weekends

• Watch out for: Pool closed September–December 2026; Paid parking and confusing arrival access; Elevator waits during busy periods

• Location: Central downtown setting with a convention-center skywalk connection and walkable dining and sports venues.

• Rooms: Spacious suites with separate living areas; some guests report wear rather than consistently fresh finishes.

• Cleanliness: Generally well rated across booking sites, despite occasional housekeeping misses.

• Service: Friendly, helpful staff earn repeated praise; busy-period check-in and elevator delays can frustrate.

• Amenities: Breakfast, evening reception, restaurant and gym; pool listed closed through December 31, 2026.

• Fees and surprises: Self-parking costs extra, with a 6-foot-8 garage clearance; pets incur a nonrefundable fee.
