Axel's take: 8.6/10
A strong self-catering choice for Otaniemi, with less hand-holding than a conventional hotel. A modern, self-service apartment hotel near Aalto University, scored for what it is.
Noli Otaniemi is a modern, self-service apartment hotel rather than a conventional full-service stay. We'd pick it for Aalto visits or longer trips where cooking and working space matter. Expedia and Booking.com show strong overall ratings, especially for cleanliness, while recent Trip.com guests praise the practical kitchens and convenient transport. The gym, saunas and shared workspaces add real substance beyond the room.
The trade-off is independence: check-in is electronic and hosts aren't available around the clock. Compact studios are genuinely small, and some Tripadvisor guests dislike windows that cannot open. Breakfast and parking cost extra. We'd skip it for a pampered hotel break or a trip centered on walking straight into Helsinki's downtown sights.
-
