#4 of 9 hotels in Ba Dinh by Axel's take. Ba Dinh is #3 of 5 places to stay in Hanoi. The best hotels in Ba Dinh, ranked · Where to stay in Hanoi

Axel's take: 8.6/10

Spacious rooms and helpful staff make a strong base, but check nearby construction. a full-service, five-star business hotel in Ba Dinh, scored for what it is.

Grand Vista Hanoi is a five-star business hotel in Ba Dinh, and we'd pick it for comfortable rooms and attentive service rather than Old Quarter atmosphere. The hotel lists entry-level rooms at a generous 32 square metres, with separate showers and bathtubs. Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and breakfast, while recent Expedia reviews reinforce the room-comfort story. An indoor pool and gym round out a strong full-service offering.

The trade-off is the setting: sightseeing around Hoan Kiem Lake generally means a ride rather than stepping outside into the action. More importantly, a September 2026 Tripadvisor guest reports heavy construction around the hotel’s block; ask about current work and room exposure before booking. We'd skip it for a short, walking-focused Old Quarter stay, but it's a strong option for business trips or travelers prioritizing space and facilities.

  • Best for: business travelers in Ba Dinh; couples prioritizing room space; travelers wanting a pool and gym

  • Watch out for: heavy nearby construction reported in September 2026; rides needed for Old Quarter sightseeing; check whether breakfast is included

  • Location: Ba Dinh base near offices and embassies; Hoan Kiem Lake is around four kilometres away.

  • Rooms: Deluxe rooms start at 32 square metres, with separate showers and bathtubs; guests consistently appreciate the space.

  • Cleanliness: A clear strength across sites, with Booking.com and Expedia both recording strong cleanliness scores.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are a recurring positive across Tripadvisor, Booking.com and Expedia.

  • Amenities: Indoor pool, gym, sauna and restaurant; the official Deluxe listing includes fitness-club access.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast and airport transfers can cost extra; parking is free, and nearby construction warrants checking directly.
