Axel's take: 8.1/10

Comfortable rooms and rooftop views make this a strong pick outside the sightseeing core. a modern 4-star in Sachsenhausen with a skyline-view rooftop bar, scored for what it is.

The Blasky is a modern 4-star in Sachsenhausen, now operating as Vienna House by Wyndham Frankfurt South following its autumn 2026 rebranding. We'd pick it for comfortable rooms and the rooftop restaurant and bar, rather than doorstep sightseeing. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and friendly reception staff; the skyline views give it something beyond standard business-hotel appeal.

The trade-offs are location and quiet: expect public transport or a longer walk to the old town, and some guests report railway noise, thin walls or rooftop events. Breakfast and parking cost extra unless included. An expansion is planned through 2027; an April 2026 Expedia guest also reported nearby construction, so confirm current works before booking. We'd skip it if uninterrupted sleep or a central sightseeing base matters most.

• Best for: couples who enjoy rooftop drinks; business travelers; city visitors comfortable using transit

• Watch out for: railway and occasional rooftop-event noise; breakfast and parking extras; confirm construction and expansion disruption

• Location: Sachsenhausen south of the sightseeing core, with tram stops nearby.

• Rooms: Modern, generally comfortable rooms; request one away from the railway and rooftop activity.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and Expedia, despite occasional housekeeping complaints.

• Service: Reception earns frequent praise, although some recent Tripadvisor guests describe poor problem handling.

• Amenities: Rooftop restaurant and bar, free Wi-Fi and EV charging; Wyndham also lists a gym and sauna.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast, parking and dogs carry extra charges; expansion is planned through 2027, with current disruption unconfirmed.
