#6 of 9 hotels in Bahnhofsviertel by Axel's take. Bahnhofsviertel is #3 of 7 places to stay in Frankfurt. The best hotels in Bahnhofsviertel, ranked · Where to stay in Frankfurt

Axel's take: 8.0/10

Come for cocktails and atmosphere, not flawless luxury. A nightlife-focused luxury boutique hotel near Frankfurt’s main station, scored for what it is.

Roomers Frankfurt Central is a luxury boutique hotel with a distinctly after-dark personality, close to the main station and Main River. Its strongest assets are the lively cocktail bar, Burbank restaurant and top-floor wellness area. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff and excellent breakfast; overall feedback remains strongly positive. We’d pick it for a couples’ city break built around food and nightlife.

The trade-off is that luxury basics aren’t consistently polished. Recent Tripadvisor and Marriott reviews repeat complaints about ineffective air-conditioning, tired details and rooms that feel too dark; some guests also report street noise. The bar permits smoking, so don’t assume the catalog’s smoke-free label applies throughout. We’d skip it if bright interiors, dependable temperature control or a smoke-free evening matter more than atmosphere.

  • Best for: Couples who enjoy nightlife; Food and cocktail enthusiasts; Design-minded city breakers

  • Watch out for: Smoking permitted in the bar; Recurring air-conditioning and upkeep complaints; Dark interiors and possible street noise

  • Location: Convenient for the main station and Main River, both a short walk away.

  • Rooms: Distinctive dark styling; recent guests flag uneven upkeep and temperature control.

  • Cleanliness: Generally strong: Expedia’s cleanliness score is 9.0/10, despite occasional negative reports.

  • Service: Warm welcomes receive frequent praise, though problem handling is less consistent.

  • Amenities: Burbank restaurant, smoking cocktail bar, spa, whirlpool and gym; the whirlpool is not a lap pool.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; check breakfast inclusion. Expedia lists an incidental deposit and city tax.
