Axel's take: 8.5/10

Reliable comfort and friendly service, with a less appealing station-side neighborhood. a modern 4-star business hotel near Frankfurt’s main station, scored for what it is.

This modern 4-star business hotel is a strong pick for comfortable rooms and straightforward access to central Frankfurt. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and the breakfast spread. Rooms generally deliver the space and comfort expected at this level, and the main station is about eight minutes away on foot. We’d choose it for a business trip or practical city break rather than a characterful boutique stay.

The main compromise is outside: several recent guests describe visible drug use and uncomfortable streets toward the station. Ask reception for a recommended walking route, especially after dark. Parking and breakfast can add to the bill, and there’s no pool. We’d skip it if an attractive neighborhood for evening wandering matters more than transport convenience.

• Best for: business travelers; rail-connected city breaks; travelers prioritizing clean, comfortable rooms

• Watch out for: uncomfortable streets toward the station; parking and breakfast may cost extra; no swimming pool

• Location: Walkable to the station, financial district and Alte Oper; nearby station-side streets draw recurring complaints.

• Rooms: Generally spacious, comfortable and well maintained, with air conditioning and connecting-room options.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent guest reviews and major booking-site ratings.

• Service: Friendly, helpful reception and restaurant staff earn repeated praise.

• Amenities: Restaurant and bar, 24-hour gym, free Wi-Fi, convenience shop and garage with EV charging; no pool.

• Fees and surprises: Garage parking costs extra; check breakfast inclusion. IHG lists limited housekeeping.
