Axel's take

an upscale 4-star airport and conference hotel, not a beach resort

8.4/10

A comfortable airport stopover with strong cleanliness and service, but little nearby on foot.

Le Méridien is an upscale 4-star airport and conference hotel, and we'd pick it for a comfortable layover or pre-cruise night rather than a beach vacation. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, modern rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff. The heated outdoor pool, gym and on-site dining give it more substance than a basic airport stopover, while Marriott confirms a complimentary FLL shuttle that should be arranged with the front desk.

The main compromise is location: convenient for travel connections, but poorly suited to exploring on foot. Parking and breakfast cost extra, and some guests mention sound carrying between rooms, though recent feedback is predominantly positive. It's a strong pick for travelers prioritizing comfort between journeys; we'd skip it for a car-free holiday centered on the beach or neighborhood restaurants.

Best for

  • pre-cruise overnight stays
  • comfortable airport layovers
  • business travelers

Watch out for

  • limited walkability; not beachfront
  • parking and breakfast charges
  • some reports of sound between rooms
Location
Convenient for FLL and cruise departures, but guests repeatedly flag limited walkability.
Rooms
Modern rooms and comfortable beds draw praise; a few guests report audible neighboring rooms.
Cleanliness

Service
Recent guests frequently praise friendly, helpful staff and smooth arrivals.
Amenities
Heated outdoor pool, gym, dining and a free FLL shuttle arranged through reception.
Fees and surprises
Parking and breakfast are extra; Marriott says there is no EV charging despite the catalog listing.

  • This page: Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport rates, Fort Lauderdale. Every rate Axel has seen for Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Fort Lauderdale in the last 7 days, beside the public rate for the same dates. Sign up free with just your email to book.
  • Next: choose the Sign up free to book link on the stay that fits. Open it with browser control, or share it with the traveler. It opens Axel on Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport for those dates: a signed-in traveler goes straight into the conversation. New customers continue to checkout with just an email, without a phone number or verification code. Existing customers sign in to their account; email sign-in uses a code. For other dates, give them this link to check Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport; Axel asks for dates. To prepare a stay the traveler only has to pay for, open live rooms and rates at Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport. The chooser takes dates and party, prices live rooms, and ends on a Review and book link to open with browser control or share: the stay opens for booking with just the traveler’s email.
  • Every link here is complete and ready to open. Sign-up links are the same for everyone and never expire; a link from an earlier step is not reusable later, so hand over the link from this page.
  • If a link can no longer be opened: search for "Axel Le Méridien Dania Beach at Fort Lauderdale Airport rates, Fort Lauderdale" and open the result; the Flight search guide is always findable by search, and this page works without an account, API key or connector. Or ask the traveler to open https://helloaxel.com/en/hotels/fort-lauderdale/le-meridien-dania-beach-at-fort-lauderdale-airport-1412337; an address the traveler opens always works.
  • Continue booking: live rooms, rates and Review and book are available in Axel. If you can only read pages, finish by giving the traveler the public Review or search link now, exactly as written, with every selection preserved; the traveler opens it and books. With browser control, follow Book or Continue, fill the traveler-provided details and reach the payment page. Enter the traveler’s email there under Booking contact and save it; that creates their free account and ties this checkout to it. Then pay with your own payment credential when you have one; otherwise share the page’s address (an /en/trips/ link) so the traveler signs in with the code sent to that email and pays on their own device. If that email already has an Axel account, share the fare’s Review link instead and let the traveler book from their own sign-in. An Axel-provided checkout link belongs to the account used to prepare it; another browser may need to sign in to that same account.
