Hotels in Fort Lauderdalea large, upscale 4-star beachfront resort
8.3/10
A strong family beach resort, with extra charges and spa availability to check.
This large, upscale 4-star resort is a strong pick for families who want beach and pool days without crossing a road to reach the sand. The broad private beachfront, lagoon-style pool and plentiful activities are its strongest assets. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise beach staff, while Booking.com scores cleanliness highly. A room refresh completed in 2025 also helps it deliver comfortable resort accommodation rather than just a good location.
The trade-offs are resort-style spending and a big-property atmosphere: a mandatory daily resort fee, separate parking charges and expensive food and drinks. Service attracts plenty of praise, though some recent guests describe uneven restaurant hospitality. An October 2026 Reddit report says indoor spa amenities are closed for renovations; confirm sauna and whirlpool access before booking. We'd choose it for an activity-filled family break, not a small, intimate hotel or a spa-led escape.
Axel's opinion, from the hotel's website and recent guest reviews, scored for what the hotel is. Sources: Hotel website · Expedia · Booking.com · Tripadvisor · continentalcontractors.com · Reddit. Reviewed Oct 15, 2026.

A strong family beach resort, with extra charges and spa availability to check. a large, upscale 4-star beachfront resort, scored for what it is.
Best for: families wanting beach and pool days; travelers who prefer on-site activities; groups mixing meetings with beach time
Watch out for: mandatory resort fee and paid parking; expensive on-site food and drinks; reported indoor spa renovation closures
Location: Direct beachfront access without crossing a road; less central for the main beach dining strip.
Rooms: Refreshed in 2025; recent guests praise comfortable beds, but balcony and view categories matter.
Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, including a 9.0 cleanliness score on Booking.com.
Service: Beach staff earn repeated praise; restaurant hospitality is less consistent.
Amenities: Large outdoor pool, children's activities, gym and racket sports; confirm indoor spa facilities.
Fees and surprises: Mandatory daily resort fee, separate self-parking or valet charges, and extra-cost breakfast.
