Axel's take: 7.0/10
A practical stopover with friendly staff, but uneven rooms fall short of four-star polish. A functional 4-star business hotel on the outskirts of Neuss, scored for what it is.
This is a functional 4-star business hotel on Neuss’s outskirts, better suited to a short work trip or motorway stopover than a Düsseldorf city break. We’d consider it for the spacious rooms, convenient A57 access and breakfast: Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the staff and buffet. It delivers the basics, but not consistently enough to feel like a polished four-star.
The main compromises are tired interiors and uneven housekeeping. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor reviews mention worn finishes, cleanliness lapses and unpleasant smells, although other guests report clean, comfortable rooms. Summer 2026 Accor reviews also repeatedly describe hot bedrooms without air-conditioning. Parking costs extra, and Accor lists the outdoor pool as June–September only. We’d skip it for a special occasion, heat-sensitive travelers or anyone wanting central Düsseldorf on foot.
-
Best for: short business trips; motorway stopovers; travelers with a car

-
Location: Near the A57 on Neuss’s outskirts; useful road access, not a central Düsseldorf base.

-
Cleanliness: Mixed: many clean-room reports, alongside recent complaints about hair, stains and smells.
-
Service: Friendly staff are a recurring strength, though follow-through on requests can slip.
-
Amenities: Restaurant, bar, small fitness room and a June–September outdoor pool are advertised by Accor.
-
Fees and surprises: On-site parking and buffet breakfast carry extra charges unless included in your booking.
