#4 of 9 hotels in Temple Bar by Axel's take. Temple Bar is #3 of 11 places to stay in Dublin. The best hotels in Temple Bar, ranked · Where to stay in Dublin

Axel's take: 8.7/10

A comfortable, well-run Temple Bar base, provided nightlife is part of the appeal. a stylish 4-star in Dublin’s lively Temple Bar, scored for what it is.

The Morgan is a stylish 4-star in Temple Bar, and a strong pick for exploring Dublin on foot without giving up comfortable rooms or helpful service. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the welcoming staff, comfortable beds and cleanliness; Booking.com feedback reinforces that picture. The cocktail bar adds appeal for a sociable city break.

The main compromise is the neighborhood: late-night street noise reaches some rooms, although plenty of guests report quiet stays at the rear. Request a back-facing room rather than assuming every room is equally peaceful. Room sizes also vary, so check the category before booking. We’d choose it for sightseeing and evenings out, but skip it if guaranteed quiet matters more than being in the middle of things.

  • Best for: first-time Dublin visitors; couples on city breaks; nightlife-focused travelers

  • Watch out for: late-night noise in some rooms; room sizes vary; paid off-site parking

  • Location: Central Temple Bar, within easy walking distance of Trinity College, shops and restaurants.

  • Rooms: Comfortable beds, Nespresso machines and contemporary bathrooms; quieter rear rooms receive repeated recommendations.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across Booking.com and Expedia, despite occasional housekeeping lapses on Tripadvisor.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful reception and bar teams are among the most consistent guest compliments.

  • Amenities: 10 Fleet Street Restaurant & Bar, free Wi-Fi and room service cover the city-break essentials.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking is in the paid Fleet Street car park opposite; Booking.com also specifies a credit-card preauthorization at check-in.
