Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong exhibition base with helpful staff, but compact rooms and off-site leisure facilities. a practical 3-star beside Dubai World Trade Centre, scored for what it is.

This practical 3-star is a strong pick for Dubai World Trade Centre events and sightseeing by metro. Booking.com, Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff and clean rooms, while recent Accor reviews also highlight breakfast. We'd choose it for a straightforward, well-connected stay rather than a hotel-centered holiday; Twine restaurant and complimentary beach and mall shuttles add useful extras.

The main compromise is space: standard rooms are just 17 square meters, and several guests find them cramped. There is no pool or gym in the building; management directs gym users to sister hotel ibis One Central. Renovations caused guest relocations earlier in 2026, although newer reviews describe refreshed rooms; confirm whether any work remains before booking. We'd skip it for a spacious family stay or a pool-focused break.

• Best for: World Trade Centre event attendees; metro-based sightseeing; short business stays

• Watch out for: compact standard rooms; no on-site pool or gym; confirm remaining renovation work

• Location: Excellent for World Trade Centre events, with the metro nearby.

• Rooms: Standard doubles and twins are 17 square meters; newer guests describe refreshed interiors.

• Cleanliness: Consistently praised across booking sites, with occasional corridor-cleanliness complaints.

• Service: Friendly, helpful reception and housekeeping are recurring strengths.

• Amenities: Twine restaurant, breakfast, free Wi-Fi and scheduled shuttles; gym access is at ibis One Central.

• Fees and surprises: Tourism tax applies; breakfast may cost extra, and parking is at nearby ibis One Central.
