#9 of 9 hotels in Banani by Axel's take. Banani is #4 of 8 places to stay in Dhaka. The best hotels in Banani, ranked · Where to stay in Dhaka

Axel's take: 4.9/10

Convenient Banani location, but recurring cleanliness and maintenance problems make it hard to recommend. a basic independent hotel in Banani, not a dependable four-star stay, scored for what it is.

West Park Inn is a basic independent hotel in Banani, despite its website’s four-star-standard pitch. Its strongest asset is the location: restaurants, shops and a neighborhood park are nearby, and Booking.com guests rate location much higher than cleanliness or comfort. Some recent guests praise friendly staff and comfortable rooms, but we wouldn’t make it a first choice, even for a simple stay.

The concern is a recurring pattern, not one unhappy guest. Across Trip.com, Expedia and guest reviews displayed by Planet of Hotels, travelers report dirty bedding or bathrooms, insects and malfunctioning room equipment. Trip.com lists a 2025 renovation, and an August 2026 Tripadvisor guest found the rooms clean, but other 2026 reports show continuing problems. We’d skip it for families, hygiene-sensitive travelers or anyone needing reliable business facilities; consider it only if Banani convenience outweighs substantial uncertainty.

Best for: travelers prioritizing Banani location; flexible travelers able to inspect their room
Watch out for: recurring cleanliness and insect complaints; unreliable bathroom fittings and room equipment; inconsistent room condition despite a listed renovation
Location: The clearest strength: Banani shops, restaurants and Block C Park are close by.
Rooms: Some guests find rooms comfortable; others report dated fittings, troublesome locks and faulty equipment.
Cleanliness: Repeated 2026 reports of dirty bathrooms, bedding and insects outweigh isolated clean-room praise.
Service: Friendly staff earn praise, but responsiveness and problem handling are inconsistent.
Amenities: The hotel advertises a restaurant, buffet breakfast, Wi-Fi and fitness center; business facilities receive criticism.
Fees and surprises: Confirm shuttle charges: the official site calls transfers complimentary, while Booking.com lists a paid airport shuttle.
