#8 of 9 hotels in Banani by Axel's take. Banani is #4 of 8 places to stay in Dhaka. The best hotels in Banani, ranked · Where to stay in Dhaka
Axel's take: 6.3/10
Useful Banani location and helpful staff, but housekeeping and maintenance need more consistency. a basic independent 3-star hotel in Banani, scored for what it is.
The Enchanted is a basic independent 3-star in Banani, best considered for its location rather than its facilities. Booking.com guests rate the location well above the rooms, and helpful staff earn praise across several sites. Nearby shops and restaurants make it a practical base for a short visit, while the hotel advertises rooftop dining, free parking and Wi-Fi.
The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Reviews from 2025 and 2026 repeatedly mention aging rooms, dirty bathrooms or bedding, and noisy or faulty air-conditioning; other guests report clean, comfortable stays. That unevenness makes it hard to recommend without reservations. Confirm breakfast inclusions, inspect the room before settling in, and don't assume the catalog's indoor pool exists. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness or modern rooms are priorities.
-
Best for: short visits centered on Banani; budget-conscious travelers prioritizing location
-
Watch out for: inconsistent housekeeping; aging rooms and unreliable fixtures; indoor pool not verified
-
Location: Banani shops and restaurants are a strength; Booking.com guests rate location particularly well.
-
Rooms: Basic, older accommodation; recurring reports of noisy AC and faulty televisions or bathroom fixtures.
-
Cleanliness: Mixed: some guests praise clean rooms, but recent complaints repeatedly flag bathrooms and bedding.
-
Service: Helpful staff are frequently praised, though some guests describe slow responses or billing disagreements.
-
Amenities: Dining, Wi-Fi and free parking are advertised; confirm gym and sauna availability, and do not count on a pool.
-
Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusions and early-arrival charges in writing; extra beds incur a fee.
