This is a logistics choice, not a substitute for staying in central Geneva. Route de Pré-Bois and Avenue Louis-Casaï mix business premises, airport traffic and short-stay accommodation. It makes sense for a very early departure, airport-related work or a Palexpo-heavy visit, provided you check the actual door-to-venue journey rather than assuming everything is next door.
For sightseeing, the trade is poor: evenings become another trip into town, and a nearby terminal does not guarantee an easy walk with bags. Recent local forum advice generally favors sleeping centrally even before a flight. Choose this only when airport-side convenience is the point.
