Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong beach-city base with generous rooms, warm service and excellent rooftop views. a modern five-star high-rise across the road from My Khe Beach, scored for what it is.

Voco Ma Belle is a modern five-star high-rise across the road from My Khe Beach, not a secluded beach resort. It’s a strong pick for travelers who want comfortable rooms and easy beach access without giving up city conveniences. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise the welcoming staff, spacious rooms, sea views and varied breakfast. The rooftop infinity pool gives it a real edge, backed by a gym and spa.

The trade-offs are mostly about bustle rather than tired facilities. Guests mention street and entertainment noise, busy elevators and occasional housekeeping lapses; the overall cleanliness picture remains very positive. Poolside space is also limited. We’d choose it for a lively beach-and-sightseeing stay, but skip it if silence, sprawling resort grounds or a private beach are essential.

• Best for: couples combining beach time and sightseeing; families wanting spacious rooms; travelers who enjoy rooftop pools and bars

• Watch out for: street and entertainment noise; busy elevators and limited poolside space; public beach across the road, not a private beachfront

• Location: My Khe Beach is across the road, with restaurants and cafés within walking distance.

• Rooms: Spacious, modern rooms earn strong praise; sea-view balcony categories are particularly appealing.

• Cleanliness: Very strong overall ratings, with occasional reports of inconsistent daily housekeeping.

• Service: Warm restaurant and concierge service stands out; in-room service is occasionally less consistent.

• Amenities: 26th-floor infinity pool, sea-view gym, spa, kids’ club and children’s cinema.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is complimentary; breakfast inclusion depends on the booking, and late checkout can cost extra.
