#6 of 9 hotels in Pham Van Dong Beach by Axel's take. Pham Van Dong Beach is #3 of 6 places to stay in Da Nang. The best hotels in Pham Van Dong Beach, ranked · Where to stay in Da Nang

Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong beachside choice for sea views and service, less convincing for quiet. A large, full-service 4-star hotel across the road from My Khe Beach, scored for what it is.

The Nalod is a large, full-service 4-star across the road from My Khe Beach, and we'd shortlist it for a comfortable beach break rather than a secluded resort stay. Recent Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, helpful staff and ocean views. Breakfast generally gets good feedback, while the fourth-floor outdoor pool, gym and spa round out a solid package for the money.

The main compromise is soundproofing: guests on multiple sites report hearing neighboring rooms, hallway conversations and sometimes traffic. Some also find the fittings older than expected. An August 2026 contract award covers fire-system work in the 19th-floor spa area and rooftop signage; current disruption is unconfirmed, so check before booking. It's a strong pick for beach access and attentive service, but we'd skip it if undisturbed sleep or a freshly updated luxury feel is essential.

  • Best for: Couples booking ocean-view rooms; Beachgoers wanting nearby restaurants; Travelers prioritizing helpful service

  • Watch out for: Noise between rooms and from corridors; Some older room fittings; Confirm spa-area and rooftop work status

  • Location: Across the coastal road from My Khe Beach and East Sea Park, with restaurants nearby.

  • Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable; ocean views are a highlight, but sound insulation is a recurring weakness.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback across sites, with frequent praise for daily housekeeping.

  • Service: Friendly, attentive staff are one of the most consistent positives in recent reviews.

  • Amenities: Fourth-floor outdoor pool, children's pool, gym, Sen Spa and restaurants; breakfast is generally well received.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast inclusion depends on the booking; airport transfers cost extra. Confirm the status of recently contracted spa-area and rooftop works.
