#9 of 9 hotels in An Thuong & My Khe Beach by Axel's take. An Thuong & My Khe Beach is #1 of 6 places to stay in Da Nang. The best hotels in An Thuong & My Khe Beach, ranked · Where to stay in Da Nang

Axel's take: 8.0/10

Friendly service and a handy beach-area location outweigh the dated finish. an older 4-star city hotel a short walk from My Khe Beach, scored for what it is.

Royal Lotus is an older 4-star city hotel near My Khe Beach, not a beachfront resort. It’s a strong pick for travelers who prioritize helpful staff, comfortable beds and nearby restaurants over contemporary design. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the service, while recent Booking.com reviews particularly like the spacious suites. We’d choose it as a practical beach-area base rather than a hotel to spend all day in.

The trade-off is polish. Booking.com and Expedia guests describe dated interiors, and some flag maintenance shortcomings; one January 2026 review specifically criticizes the pool area’s condition. Cleanliness feedback is mostly positive, though not uniformly so. Breakfast divides opinion on variety and international choices. Skip it if you want fresh interiors, a standout pool or direct beach access, and confirm breakfast inclusion and extra-bed arrangements before booking.

  • Best for: couples exploring the beach area; travelers prioritizing service and location; guests wanting a spacious suite

  • Watch out for: dated interiors and uneven maintenance; pool area may disappoint; not directly on the beach

  • Location: Roughly a five-to-ten-minute walk to My Khe Beach, with restaurants, cafés and shops nearby.

  • Rooms: Comfortable beds and particularly spacious suites; furnishings show their age.

  • Cleanliness: Mostly praised on booking sites, with occasional housekeeping lapses reported on Tripadvisor.

  • Service: Helpful, friendly reception and restaurant staff are the most consistent strength across sites.

  • Amenities: Outdoor and children’s pools, restaurant and sauna listed; breakfast variety and pool upkeep receive mixed feedback.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast is not included in every booking; extra beds carry charges, so confirm bedding for family reservations.
