Axel's take: 8.6/10

A strong beach-side base with excellent staff, but expect busy-hotel bottlenecks. a full-service five-star beach-road high-rise, not a secluded resort, scored for what it is.

Four Points by Sheraton Danang is a full-service five-star high-rise across the road from My Khe Beach, rather than a sprawling beachfront resort. It's a strong pick for comfortable rooms, ocean views and attentive service. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise spacious, clean rooms, helpful staff and the varied breakfast buffet. The rooftop pool and bar add a good reason to spend time upstairs; an ocean-view balcony room makes particular sense here.

The main compromises are scale and bustle. Elevator waits recur across both sites, while some recent guests describe a crowded, noisy pool with limited loungers. Beach access involves crossing the coastal road, not stepping onto private sand. We'd choose it for a comfortable beach-and-city break, but skip it for secluded resort grounds or reliably peaceful pool days.

  • Best for: couples wanting ocean-view balconies; families combining beach time and sightseeing; travelers who prioritize helpful service

  • Watch out for: elevator waits at busy times; pool crowds and limited loungers; road crossing to reach the beach

  • Location: Across the coastal road from My Khe Beach; convenient for beach time rather than a city-center doorstep.

  • Rooms: Spacious rooms with balconies; ocean views and comfortable beds draw consistent praise.

  • Cleanliness: A clear strength, with recent guests repeatedly praising clean rooms and well-kept interiors.

  • Service: Warm, helpful staff are the most consistent highlight across recent reviews.

  • Amenities: Rooftop outdoor pool and bar, Serenity Spa, restaurants and a 24-hour gym; pool space can feel tight.

  • Fees and surprises: Parking is complimentary; check breakfast inclusion, children's breakfast charges, incidental deposits and pet fees.
