A strong riverside base with standout staff, though the interiors show their age. an established 4-star city hotel overlooking the Han River, scored for what it is.

Brilliant is an established 4-star city hotel on the Han River, and we'd choose it for sightseeing rather than beach days. Han Market, the cathedral and plenty of restaurants are close by. Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the helpful staff, comfortable rooms and varied breakfast. A river-view room makes the most of the setting, while the rooftop bar offers another way to enjoy the bridges and evening lights.

The trade-off is age: recent guests describe dated interiors, and a few report housekeeping details being missed, although cleanliness feedback remains strongly positive overall. Some guests mention noise, too. The pool is glass-roofed on the fourth floor, not an outdoor rooftop pool.
