8.6/10
A strong self-catering base with helpful hosts, but showers and stairs need consideration.
Allinkay is a simple 3-star apartment hotel in Lucrepata, near San Blas, rather than a full-service hotel. It's a strong pick for travelers wanting cooking facilities and good value outside the busiest tourist streets. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, comfortable beds and helpful hosts; recent reviews also highlight responsive service. The main plaza is roughly a 10–15-minute walk away, with an uphill return.
The recurring weakness is the shower: guests on several sites report lukewarm water or weak pressure, including a 2026 Trip.com review. Some apartments also get chilly, so request a heater. There is no elevator, and upper-floor stairs can be taxing while acclimatizing. We'd skip it if easy mobility or reliably hot, powerful showers matter more than self-catering convenience. Confirm your apartment's floor and arrival arrangements before traveling.
