Hotels in Corpus ChristiAn aging, full-service 3-star overlooking the downtown marina
6.7/10
Great marina views and helpful staff, but room upkeep makes this a qualified pick.
This is an aging, full-service 3-star downtown hotel, not a beach resort. Its strongest reasons to book are the marina views and easy walks to the seawall, restaurants and bars. Recent Expedia guests frequently praise helpful staff, comfortable rooms and the outlook, while the indoor/outdoor pool, gym and on-site dining give it useful substance. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay rather than a hotel-centered vacation.
The catch is inconsistent upkeep. Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews from 2026 repeatedly mention worn furnishings, stained bathrooms, musty smells and housekeeping misses, although plenty of Expedia guests report clean rooms. Parking costs extra, and breakfast isn't automatically included. We'd skip it if dependable cleanliness and fresh interiors matter more than the waterfront address; the view doesn't erase the maintenance concerns.
