Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor guests consistently praise clean rooms, comfortable beds and welcoming staff, especially the valets. Metropolitan Tavern's rooftop dining and city views give it appeal beyond a practical overnight stop.
The main compromise is sleep: Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly flag noise from nearby light rail, and complimentary earplugs won't suit everyone.
