A strong downtown pick for comfortable rooms, helpful staff and exploring Denver without a car.
Limelight Denver is an upscale 4-star city hotel beside Union Station, and we'd put it high on the list for a car-free Denver stay. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise clean, comfortable rooms, welcoming staff and easy walks to restaurants, Coors Field and Ball Arena. Warm wood finishes and local artwork give it more personality than a standard business hotel, while Ajax Downtown adds a convenient restaurant and bar.
The main catch is the extras: a mandatory destination amenity fee, separately charged valet parking and breakfast that isn't automatically included. Some guests mention street noise, although many report sleeping well; light sleepers should discuss room placement. There's no on-site pool or hot tub. We'd skip it for a pool-focused family break, but it's an excellent base for downtown weekends and business trips.
