Hotels in Cedar RapidsA family-friendly 3-star convention hotel near Lindale Mall
7.9/10
Good family facilities and comfortable rooms, but the sprawling layout needs planning.
This family-friendly 3-star convention hotel is a good pick if you want more than a room for the night. The indoor pool, hot tub, game room and substantial gym give families plenty to do, while breakfast and parking are included. Expedia and Booking.com guests frequently praise comfortable beds, roomy accommodation and helpful staff. We'd choose it for a practical Cedar Rapids stay with a car.
The main catch is the sprawling, connected-building layout: several guests describe long walks to breakfast or the pool. Ask where your room sits before booking, especially if walking is difficult. Despite Expedia listing a 2022 remodel, some 2026 guests still describe dated interiors and maintenance shortcomings. Breakfast feedback is mixed, though cleanliness is generally praised. We'd skip it for sleek surroundings or downtown sightseeing on foot.
