We'd pick it for the spacious layouts, kitchenettes and convenience: the Conference Centre is opposite, Canal Walk is walkable, and secure underground parking is free. Recent Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and clean, comfortable suites.

The trade-off is polish. Several guests describe dated finishes and maintenance niggles, while breakfast gets mixed reports on variety.
