Axel's take: 8.8/10

Generous oceanfront suites and standout service, but not a child-free resort. A luxury adults-only tower within a family-friendly all-inclusive resort, scored for what it is.

Turquoize is a luxury adults-only tower inside the family-friendly Hyatt Ziva Cancun, not a separate adults-only resort. It’s a strong pick for couples wanting spacious oceanfront suites, balcony hot tubs and an exclusive rooftop infinity pool without sacrificing big-resort choice. Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the attentive staff and butlers, while cleanliness is a particularly strong signal. The beachfront setting and generous rooms make the upgrade about more than just pool access.

The main compromise is atmosphere: most restaurants and common areas are shared with families, and several Google reviewers mention loud pool music. Food earns plenty of praise, but quality varies between venues rather than consistently meeting fine-dining expectations. Spa treatments, cabanas and some premium dining extras cost more. We’d choose it for comfortable, well-serviced beach days; skip it for boutique quiet or a completely child-free holiday.

  • Best for: Couples wanting spacious oceanfront suites; Adults joining a multigenerational holiday; Beachgoers who enjoy big-resort amenities

  • Watch out for: Most of the resort welcomes children; Pool music can be loud; Premium extras beyond the all-inclusive package

  • Location: Beachfront at Punta Cancun, with Hotel Zone restaurants and nightlife within walking distance.

  • Rooms: Nearly 700-square-foot oceanfront suites with private balcony hot tubs; swim-up access requires the appropriate category.

  • Cleanliness: Strong overall feedback, including exceptionally high cleanliness marks on Expedia.

  • Service: Friendly staff and helpful butlers are recurring highlights across guest-review sites.

  • Amenities: Exclusive adults-only rooftop pool and bar, plus shared resort dining, activities, gym and beaches.

  • Fees and surprises: Budget separately for spa treatments, cabanas and selected premium dining items; adults-only applies to the tower, not the entire resort.
