Axel's take: 8.9/10

A strong couples’ escape with standout service, but choose your room location carefully. a luxury adults-only beachfront all-inclusive in Costa Mujeres, scored for what it is.

Secrets Playa Blanca is a luxury adults-only all-inclusive for couples who want their vacation centered on the resort. Spacious suites, soaking tubs and several distinct pool areas give it substance beyond the beachfront setting. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests consistently praise attentive staff, cleanliness and food; the overall feedback puts it among the stronger options in its class. We’d pick it for a honeymoon or an unhurried beach week.

The secluded location is less convenient for Cancun nightlife or frequent outings. More importantly, 2026 guests report neighboring resort construction affecting some edge rooms; ask about current work and request a room away from it. Preferred Club reserves certain facilities for upgraded bookings, and spa treatments cost extra. We’d skip it if walk-out nightlife or guaranteed daytime quiet matters most.

• Best for: honeymooners and anniversary couples; adults wanting a resort-centered beach week; travelers prioritizing attentive service

• Watch out for: neighboring construction reported near some rooms; secluded setting away from Cancun nightlife; Preferred Club access restrictions and paid extras

• Location: Secluded beachfront in Costa Mujeres; better for staying put than walking to nightlife.

• Rooms: Spacious contemporary suites with balconies or terraces and tubs for two; room placement matters.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Tripadvisor and recent verified Expedia reviews.

• Service: Attentive, friendly staff are the clearest recurring highlight across guest-review sites.

• Amenities: Multiple pools, beach, gym, varied dining and room service; some areas require Preferred Club.

• Fees and surprises: Spa treatments and some cabanas or experiences cost extra; confirm neighboring construction before booking.
