Axel's take: 8.3/10

A comfortable airport stopover, provided you plan the shuttle pickup. a practical mid-range airport hotel with a garden pool, scored for what it is.

This mid-range airport hotel is a strong pick for a night before or after flying, rather than a Cancún vacation base. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean, spacious rooms, comfortable beds and helpful staff. The garden pool and hot tub give it more appeal than a purely functional overnight stop, and the restaurant makes arriving tired straightforward. We'd choose it for a comfortable travel-day reset.

The main caveat is getting there: the complimentary airport shuttle works well for many guests, but repeated reports describe difficult pickup communication, especially late at night. Confirm the contact number and meeting point directly before flying. Restaurant and bar prices also draw complaints, and breakfast isn't automatically included. Skip it if you want beach access, nightlife or much to explore on foot.

• Best for: overnight airport connections; early departures; a night before a resort stay

• Watch out for: airport pickup communication can be patchy; costly on-site food and drinks; little to explore on foot

• Location: A short drive from the terminals; practical for flights, not a walkable beach or sightseeing base.

• Rooms: Guests regularly praise spacious rooms and comfortable beds; expect business-hotel comfort, not resort luxury.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Expedia and Tripadvisor feedback.

• Service: Generally friendly and helpful, though airport pickup communication receives repeated criticism.

• Amenities: Outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, restaurant, free Wi-Fi and complimentary airport shuttle.

• Fees and surprises: Parking is complimentary; breakfast is not standard inclusion, so check your booking.
