Axel's take: 8.3/10

A strong Granada base with personable service, but unreliable Wi-Fi and repairs worth checking. An adults-only, design-led boutique hotel in Granada, scored for what it is.

NOW is a small, design-led boutique hotel in Granada, better judged as an upscale city base than a full-service luxury property. We'd pick it for nearby restaurants, spacious rooms and attentive staff. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the housekeeping and welcome, while breakfast and the small rooftop pool add appeal. Overall ratings remain strong across Booking.com, Expedia and Tripadvisor.

The clearest recurring weakness is unreliable in-room Wi-Fi; some guests also flag dim lighting and awkward showers. More importantly, an August 2026 Expedia reviewer reported earthquake-related room repairs and a broken elevator. September guests were positive, but completion isn't independently confirmed: ask directly about repairs and elevator operation before committing. It's a good fit for couples exploring Cali; we'd skip it for Wi-Fi-dependent work or any stay requiring guaranteed step-free access without confirmation.

• Best for: Couples exploring Cali; Restaurant-focused city breaks; Travelers who prefer small hotels

• Watch out for: Unreliable in-room Wi-Fi; Confirm repair status and elevator operation; Some rooms have dim lighting

• Location: Granada setting within walking distance of numerous restaurants, bars and shops.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable; lighting, outlets and shower design draw occasional criticism.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength in recent reviews, with efficient housekeeping frequently praised.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn repeated praise, though problem handling is not uniformly strong.

• Amenities: Small rooftop pool, restaurant and sauna; breakfast and limited parking are listed as included.

• Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a breakage deposit and extra charges for airport transfers and pets; confirm August repair work is complete.
