Axel's take: 8.6/10

A dependable riverside base with helpful staff, but compact rooms. a practical mid-range chain hotel by the Cali River, scored for what it is.

This is a practical mid-range Hampton, not a luxury four-star, and it's a strong pick for a short Cali stay. The riverside location puts La Tertulia museum and El Peñón restaurants within easy reach. Tripadvisor and Expedia ratings are consistently strong, with cleanliness and helpful staff standing out. Included breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking add useful value, while the rooftop pool and terrace give it more appeal than a basic business hotel.

The main compromise is space: Expedia lists rooms at around 18 square meters, and several 2026 guests complain they're small. The pool is compact too—think cooling off rather than swimming laps. Breakfast earns plenty of praise, but some guests report cold food or limited variety. We'd choose it for business trips or couples exploring Cali; we'd skip it for spacious family accommodation or a resort-style pool.

• Best for: short business trips; couples exploring western Cali; travelers prioritizing clean, dependable basics

• Watch out for: compact rooms; small rooftop pool; uneven breakfast feedback

• Location: Riverside Santa Teresita base near La Tertulia and El Peñón restaurants.

• Rooms: Functional, air-conditioned rooms; listed at roughly 18 square meters, with recurring size complaints.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Tripadvisor ratings and recent Expedia feedback.

• Service: Recent guests repeatedly praise friendly, helpful staff and smooth check-in.

• Amenities: Included breakfast and Wi-Fi, rooftop outdoor pool, gym and Sky Lounge restaurant.

• Fees and surprises: Hilton says parking is complimentary but subject to availability; no airport shuttle.
