Axel's take: 8.8/10

Stylish suites and standout staff, with soundproofing and seasonal swimming caveats. a contemporary 5-star all-suite hotel in Puerto Madero, scored for what it is.

SLS is a contemporary 5-star all-suite hotel in Puerto Madero, and a strong pick for travelers who prefer modern design to grand-hotel formality. Its 58 suites have private balconies, and recent Expedia and Booking.com guests consistently praise the spacious rooms, cleanliness, helpful staff and breakfast. The waterfront neighborhood adds restaurants and pleasant walking routes; Leynia, Ciel Spa and a well-equipped gym round out the appeal.

The main reservation is quiet: recent Tripadvisor and Accor guests mention sound carrying from neighboring rooms or the street, although praise still dominates overall. Swimming needs planning, too: current booking listings show the outdoor pool closed through November 15, 2026, so confirm reopening directly. We'd choose it for a comfortable, design-conscious city stay, but skip it if guaranteed silence or a pool-centered break is essential.

• Best for: couples who like contemporary design; travelers wanting spacious suites; business travelers based in Puerto Madero

• Watch out for: outdoor pool closure listed through November 15, 2026; some reports of intrusive noise; parking and pet charges

• Location: Modern waterfront neighborhood with restaurants and walking routes nearby.

• Rooms: Spacious, contemporary suites with private balconies; sound isolation draws some criticism.

• Cleanliness: Strong ratings across Booking.com and Expedia, backed by repeated guest praise.

• Service: Friendly, attentive staff are one of the most consistent strengths across sources.

• Amenities: Leynia restaurant, praised breakfast, gym and Ciel Spa; confirm the outdoor pool's reopening.

• Fees and surprises: Parking, pets and spa treatments cost extra; current listings show the pool closed through November 15, 2026.
