Axel's take: 7.9/10

A practical central base with friendly staff, but choose your room carefully. a simple, independent 3-star beside Avenida 9 de Julio, scored for what it is.

Hotel Internacional is a simple, independent 3-star in Monserrat, best treated as a practical sightseeing base rather than somewhere to linger. Its central location, nearby subway access and helpful staff are the strongest reasons to book. Booking.com guests rate cleanliness and service particularly well, and recent Expedia reviews also praise clean rooms and comfortable bedding. For travelers spending most of the day exploring, it looks like a solid, good-value choice.

Room quality is the catch: Tripadvisor guests describe both remodeled, comfortable rooms and cramped, dark accommodation with tiny bathrooms. Noise can also affect some rooms. Confirm the room category and breakfast and parking inclusions before booking: the official website advertises both as included, while booking sites list extra charges. We'd skip it if spacious rooms, consistent contemporary finishes or dependable quiet are priorities.

• Best for: budget-conscious city explorers; short central Buenos Aires stays; travelers who value helpful staff

• Watch out for: uneven room size and condition; noise in some rooms; breakfast and parking inclusions vary

• Location: Central Monserrat beside Avenida 9 de Julio, with Moreno subway station a short walk away.

• Rooms: Some guests praise remodeled rooms; others report dark, compact rooms and small bathrooms.

• Cleanliness: Generally positive across Booking.com and recent Expedia feedback.

• Service: Staff friendliness is the most consistent strength across the guest-review sources.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a 24-hour reception, bar and on-site parking cover the practical basics.

• Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast and parking inclusions: official-site promises differ from booking-site listings.
