Axel's take: 8.7/10

Strong waterfront comfort and service, but choose your room carefully for quiet. a large five-star business and convention hotel in Puerto Madero, scored for what it is.

Hilton Buenos Aires is a large five-star business and convention hotel in Puerto Madero, and a strong pick for spacious comfort rather than intimate luxury. Recent Expedia and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise clean rooms, helpful staff and breakfast. The waterfront setting makes restaurant walks easy, while the rooftop outdoor pool and gym round out a dependable full-service stay. We'd choose it for business trips or a comfortable sightseeing base.

The main caveat is sleep: Tripadvisor guests describe overnight music from the nightclub opposite, so request a room away from it. Some rooms attract comments about dated finishes, although management confirmed refurbished executive rooms in March 2026. Breakfast and parking can cost extra. We'd skip it if you want boutique character, uniformly fresh interiors or quiet without having to discuss room placement.

• Best for: business and conference travelers; couples wanting waterfront restaurants; travelers prioritizing spacious rooms

• Watch out for: nightclub noise in some rooms; uneven room freshness; breakfast and parking charges

• Location: Puerto Madero waterfront, convenient for dining; San Telmo and Calle Florida are under two kilometers away.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable; some dated finishes, with refurbished executive rooms confirmed by management.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent guest feedback, including strong Expedia cleanliness ratings.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff earn repeated praise, despite occasional reports of service delays.

• Amenities: Rooftop outdoor pool, gym, restaurant and executive lounge; Hilton does not list an indoor pool.

• Fees and surprises: Parking costs extra; check breakfast inclusion. Hilton lists no airport shuttle, contrary to some booking listings.
