Axel's take: 7.8/10

A practical Palermo base with spacious rooms, but quiet nights aren't guaranteed. a straightforward mid-range chain hotel in Palermo Hollywood, scored for what it is.

Dazzler Palermo is a straightforward mid-range chain hotel whose strongest selling point is its restaurant-filled Palermo Hollywood location. It's a good pick for travelers who want room to spread out and spend most of their time exploring. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the spacious rooms, cleanliness and helpful staff. Included buffet breakfast adds everyday value, though reactions range from adequate to excellent.

The main compromise is noise: 2026 reviews describe both sound carrying between rooms and late-night disturbance from neighboring venues. Elevator breakdowns also appeared across sites in late 2025, although we couldn't confirm an ongoing fault. The hotel confirms that its outdoor pool is seasonal, not year-round, and checkout is an early 10 a.m. We'd skip it if soundproofing or dependable year-round swimming matters more than neighborhood convenience.

• Best for: couples exploring Palermo's restaurants; travelers wanting spacious, practical rooms

• Watch out for: noise between rooms and from nearby nightlife; seasonal outdoor pool; early 10 a.m. checkout

• Location: Restaurants and bars surround the hotel; Expedia places Palermo metro about a 16-minute walk away.

• Rooms: Generally spacious and comfortable, but recent guests flag thin walls and weak lighting.

• Cleanliness: A consistent strength overall, with Booking.com scoring cleanliness 8.6 out of 10.

• Service: Helpful staff earn frequent praise, though some guests report slow check-in or uneven problem handling.

• Amenities: Included buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi and a seasonal ground-floor pool; the hotel also advertises fitness-center access.

• Fees and surprises: Covered parking and pets cost extra; confirm pool dates and note the 10 a.m. checkout.
