#3 of 9 hotels in Belváros & Váci Street by Axel's take. Belváros & Váci Street is #4 of 8 places to stay in Budapest. The best hotels in Belváros & Váci Street, ranked · Where to stay in Budapest

Axel's take: 9.0/10

Florin is a strong-value Budapest base, provided you can tolerate street noise. a central 3-star aparthotel with kitchens and 24-hour reception, scored for what it is.

Florin is a 3-star aparthotel that gets the important things right: clean, comfortable apartments, useful kitchens and a central location near Deák Ferenc tér. It’s a strong pick for exploring Budapest without paying for luxury extras. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, helpful staff and the convenience of self-catering; recent Tripadvisor reviews reinforce that picture. Studios suit couples, while larger apartments make this particularly practical for families and small groups.

The main compromise is noise. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly mention traffic and emergency sirens, especially with windows open, so light sleepers should request the quietest available apartment. Breakfast costs extra unless included in your booking, and limited paid courtyard parking needs advance reservation. We’d choose it for convenience and apartment space, but skip it if peaceful surroundings are your priority.

  • Best for: couples on sightseeing breaks; families and small groups; travelers who want a kitchen

  • Watch out for: traffic and emergency-siren noise; limited paid parking; reserve ahead; breakfast not included in every booking

  • Location: Central, walkable base near Deák Ferenc tér, airport-bus stops and the Jewish Quarter.

  • Rooms: Air-conditioned studios and larger apartments with kitchens; guests regularly praise comfort and space.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor reviews.

  • Service: Helpful staff receive repeated praise; reception operates around the clock.

  • Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, equipped kitchens, free luggage storage and breakfast available.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast and parking can cost extra; courtyard parking is limited and requires advance booking.
