Axel's take: 8.9/10

Strong beachfront luxury, with excellent housekeeping and a few big-resort compromises. a renovated 5-star beachfront hotel within The Boca Raton resort, scored for what it is.

Beach Club is a renovated 5-star beachfront hotel within The Boca Raton, and a strong pick if the ocean matters more than being beside the main resort’s restaurants and activities. Recent Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise the clean, refreshed rooms, attentive staff and well-kept pools. Three oceanfront pools and direct access to the private beach make this a convincing luxury choice for families and couples alike.

The trade-off is logistics: reaching Harborside’s lazy river and many restaurants means taking a water taxi or shuttle, with occasional waits. Dining is expensive, and resort fees and paid valet parking add to the bill. Some guests report slower service when busy. The resort’s golf course is closed for renovation, with reopening dates varying by source; confirm before planning a golf trip. We’d skip it if you want everything steps from your room.

Best for: families wanting beachfront luxury; couples prioritizing beach and pool time; travelers who enjoy a full-service resort
Watch out for: shuttle or water taxi to Harborside attractions; resort fee, paid valet and expensive dining; golf course renovation closure
Location: Direct private-beach access; the main resort is across the water rather than immediately next door.
Rooms: Refreshed rooms draw strong praise; check the view and layout rather than assuming every room faces the ocean.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across recent Tripadvisor and Expedia reviews, with housekeeping frequently singled out.
Service: Generally attentive and personable, though busy periods can bring slower beach service.
Amenities: Three oceanfront pools, beach service and fitness facilities, plus access to the wider resort’s attractions.
Fees and surprises: Resort fee and paid valet apply; golf is closed for renovation, with the hotel projecting late fall 2026 and Expedia listing December 23.
