#5 of 9 hotels in Neukölln by Axel's take. Neukölln is #11 of 12 places to stay in Berlin. The best hotels in Neukölln, ranked · Where to stay in Berlin

Axel's take: 7.8/10

Warm service and standout breakfasts make up for basic, sometimes tired rooms. A no-frills budget hotel in Berlin’s Neukölln district, scored for what it is.

Hotel Bohemia is a no-frills budget hotel in Neukölln, and we’d consider it for friendly service rather than stylish surroundings. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise the staff and cleanliness; breakfast earns particularly enthusiastic mentions, including freshly prepared eggs. Nearby U-Bahn and S-Bahn connections make it a practical base if you’re comfortable taking transit to the main sights.

The trade-off is the accommodation itself: standard rooms can be compact, and recent feedback still describes dated furnishings and bathrooms needing attention. Some guests also hear corridor noise, so this isn’t our first choice for light sleepers. Parking information varies between listings; confirm arrangements rather than assuming a reserved space. We’d pick it for a straightforward, welcoming stay, but skip it for polished interiors or sightseeing on foot.

  • Best for: Budget-conscious city visitors; Travelers exploring Neukölln; Guests who value friendly service

  • Watch out for: Compact, dated standard rooms; Possible corridor noise; Parking arrangements need confirmation

  • Location: Neukölln base near rail connections; central sights require a journey.

  • Rooms: Basic rooms vary in size; recent guests mention dated interiors and bathroom wear.

  • Cleanliness: Generally a strength, supported by solid cleanliness scores on Booking.com and Expedia.

  • Service: Friendly, helpful staff are the clearest recurring positive across sites.

  • Amenities: Wi-Fi, elevator, garden and breakfast; freshly prepared breakfast receives particular praise.

  • Fees and surprises: Breakfast may cost extra; confirm parking and arrange arrivals outside reception hours ahead.
