#1 of 9 hotels in Neukölln by Axel's take. Neukölln is #11 of 12 places to stay in Berlin. The best hotels in Neukölln, ranked · Where to stay in Berlin

Axel's take: 8.3/10

Stylish rooms and strong cleanliness make up for a less convenient sightseeing base. a modern, design-led hotel with apartment-style rooms in outer Neukölln, scored for what it is.

Bellman is a modern, design-led hotel in outer Neukölln, with kitchenette-equipped rooms that make longer stays practical. It's a strong pick for comfortable accommodation without paying for a central address. Booking.com and Expedia guests consistently praise cleanliness, helpful staff and comfortable rooms; recent Tripadvisor feedback also highlights good breakfasts. Grenzallee U-Bahn is close, but this is a transit-based Berlin stay, not a walk-to-the-sights address.

The main compromises are the busy-road setting and occasional reports of sound carrying between rooms. Amenity promises also need checking: the official site's gym section still says “coming soon,” while management previously confirmed construction-related garage and EV-charging closures; reopening is unverified. We'd skip it for a sightseeing-heavy short break or if a working gym and guaranteed covered parking are essential.

  • Best for: longer stays in kitchenette rooms; travelers with plans in Neukölln; value-conscious travelers comfortable using transit

  • Watch out for: not central for major sights; some traffic and inter-room noise reports; confirm gym, garage and EV-charging availability

  • Location: Close to Grenzallee U-Bahn; convenient for transit, less convenient for sightseeing on foot.

  • Rooms: Contemporary rooms with comfortable beds; kitchenettes are available in selected categories.

  • Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com, Expedia and recent Tripadvisor feedback.

  • Service: Generally friendly and helpful, though a minority report uneven problem handling.

  • Amenities: Restaurant, bar and breakfast available; the official gym section still carries a coming-soon notice.

  • Fees and surprises: Expedia lists a deposit, local tax and parking charges; confirm garage reopening after construction-related closure.
