8.1/10
A strong central base for space and value, rather than modern style.
Cheverny is a practical 3-star apartment hotel in Lourdes, and it's a strong pick if you want room to spread out without paying for polish. Apartments have separate living areas, kitchens and balconies, with easy access to Praça da Liberdade and Palácio das Artes. Booking.com and Expedia guests repeatedly praise cleanliness, helpful staff and comfortable beds; breakfast generally earns good marks for a straightforward city hotel.
The trade-off is age: recent reviews describe dated furniture and worn finishes, while some report street, plumbing or air-conditioning noise. Parking costs extra, is tight and has limited availability. Expedia guests reported an elevator under repair in April–May 2026; whether that work is finished is unclear. We'd choose it for sightseeing or a practical work trip, but skip it if contemporary rooms, reliable quiet or impressive leisure facilities are priorities.

Best for: value-minded city explorers; business travelers wanting extra space; travelers who use a kitchenette
Watch out for: dated furniture and finishes; noise varies by apartment; tight, limited paid parking
Location: Central Lourdes base within walking distance of Praça da Liberdade and Palácio das Artes.
Rooms: Spacious apartment layouts with kitchens and balconies; furnishings are dated and noise can intrude.
Cleanliness: A consistent strength across Booking.com and recent Expedia reviews.
Service: Staff generally earn praise for friendly, helpful and efficient service.
Amenities: Breakfast, restaurant, outdoor pool and a small gym; choose it for practicality, not leisure facilities.
Fees and surprises: Parking is charged separately and subject to availability; April–May 2026 elevator repairs are not confirmed resolved.
