Hotels in BathA traditional 3-star Georgian country-house hotel outside Bradford-on-Avon
7.5/10
Country-house character and welcoming staff, but tired details and event noise hold it back.
Leigh Park is a traditional 3-star Georgian country-house hotel: a good pick for attractive grounds and a relaxed base near Bradford-on-Avon, rather than modern polish. Tripadvisor and Expedia guests repeatedly praise welcoming staff, comfortable beds and spacious rooms, with breakfast often a highlight. Free parking adds practical appeal for exploring the area by car.
The compromise is uneven upkeep: dated furnishings recur in reviews, alongside some housekeeping and shower complaints. Rooms occupy both the main house and a separate Coach House, so confirm your allocation. There is no lift, and the hotel itself warns that wedding entertainment can affect bedrooms. Ask about events before booking and request housekeeping when needed. We'd skip it for guaranteed quiet, step-free convenience or consistently fresh interiors.
