Axel's take: 7.5/10

A handy Indiranagar base, but room upkeep is less consistent than the hospitality. a no-frills 3-star near Indiranagar metro, scored for what it is.

X by Bloom is a no-frills 3-star whose strongest selling point is its location: roughly three minutes from Indiranagar metro, with restaurants and pubs nearby. We'd consider it for a short, mostly out-and-about stay. Recent Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise helpful staff and clean rooms, while Google’s overall rating is strong. This is a practical neighborhood base rather than a hotel to spend the day in.

The caveat is consistency. Booking.com feedback is noticeably more mixed, with recurring reports of tired or dim rooms, bathroom maintenance problems and disappointing breakfast; other guests find everything neat and comfortable. Rooms are compact, and there’s no pool or gym. We'd skip it for a spacious family stay or reliably polished comfort, and check whether breakfast is included before booking.

• Best for: solo travelers on short stays; business travelers prioritizing metro access; couples exploring Indiranagar

• Watch out for: uneven room and bathroom upkeep; compact rooms with limited outlook; mixed breakfast feedback

• Location: About three minutes on foot from Indiranagar metro, with plentiful nearby dining.

• Rooms: Simple, air-conditioned rooms; some guests report dim interiors, wear and bathroom faults.

• Cleanliness: Often praised, but recent Booking.com feedback includes room-cleaning and linen complaints.

• Service: Helpful, welcoming staff are a recurring strength across Tripadvisor and MakeMyTrip.

• Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, breakfast and a 24-hour front desk; no pool or fitness center.

• Fees and surprises: Breakfast and airport pickup may cost extra; parking listings conflict, so confirm directly.
