Axel's take: 7.6/10

A practical Koramangala budget base, with friendly staff but some service inconsistencies. a simple budget hotel near Nexus Mall in Koramangala, scored for what it is.

Treebo Elite 7 is a simple budget hotel in Koramangala, best considered for its location and everyday comforts rather than extras. Nexus Mall and plenty of eating options are close by. Google and Tripadvisor guests praise helpful staff, while recent Treebo and ixigo reviews frequently describe clean, comfortable rooms. We'd consider it for a short, location-first stay without expecting polished service.

The reservations are about consistency. Some recent ixigo guests report having to request towels, drinking water and cleaning, although others describe attentive housekeeping. Booking.com's overall rating is substantially less enthusiastic than Google's, which tempers our verdict. Breakfast gets praise, but Treebo now lists it as a paid add-on: confirm your booking's inclusions. Parking is limited, too. We'd skip it if reliably hands-off service matters more than a convenient budget base.

• Best for: budget-conscious solo travelers; short Koramangala business trips; shoppers visiting Nexus Mall

• Watch out for: confirm breakfast inclusions; housekeeping and replenishment can need prompting; limited parking

• Location: Convenient Koramangala base near Nexus Mall, local shops and eating options.

• Rooms: Straightforward air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, televisions and kettles.

• Cleanliness: Often praised, though some recent guests report missed cleaning and towel replenishment.

• Service: Friendly staff earn repeated praise; follow-through is less consistent in some recent accounts.

• Amenities: Wi-Fi, a lift, 24-hour reception and laundry; the hotel lists parking for four cars.

• Fees and surprises: Treebo lists breakfast as a paid add-on; confirm inclusions and any early-check-in charge.
