Axel's take: 7.2/10

A practical central base, but dining promises and room maintenance need caution. a simple 3-star business hotel in central Bangalore, scored for what it is.

The Horizon Comforts is a simple 3-star business hotel in Vasanth Nagar, best considered for its location near Cantonment station rather than its facilities. We'd shortlist it for a short, practical stay: recent MakeMyTrip guests frequently praise clean rooms, helpful staff and convenient access to the city. Guest feedback has improved, though consistency remains its weakness.

The biggest mismatch is dining. Official websites advertise a restaurant, but guests across multiple sites report no operating restaurant and breakfast brought from outside. Recurring complaints also concern weak air-conditioning, unreliable hot water and patchy maintenance. Some 2026 guests describe refreshed rooms, but that does not establish a complete renovation. We'd skip it if dependable in-house meals or reliably polished rooms matter more than location.

• Best for: short central-city business stays; travelers using Cantonment station; budget-minded guests happy to eat nearby

• Watch out for: No operating restaurant reported by recent guests; Inconsistent air-conditioning and hot water; Limited parking and variable room upkeep

• Location: Central Vasanth Nagar, roughly a nine-minute walk from Cantonment station, with restaurants nearby.

• Rooms: Many guests find rooms comfortable; recurring cooling and maintenance complaints temper reports of refreshed interiors.

• Cleanliness: Recent MakeMyTrip feedback is mostly positive, although other 2026 guests report bathroom and housekeeping lapses.

• Service: Helpful staff receive repeated praise, but problem handling and check-in are not consistently smooth.

• Amenities: AC, TVs and Wi-Fi are advertised; guest reports contradict official restaurant claims, with breakfast sometimes outsourced.

• Fees and surprises: Early check-in or late checkout may cost extra; confirm parking availability and breakfast arrangements before booking.
