Axel's take: 8.8/10

Warm service and racecourse views make this a strong city stay, with refurbishment caveats. a modern 5-star business hotel overlooking Bengaluru’s racecourse, scored for what it is.

This modern 5-star business hotel earns its place through comfortable rooms and notably warm service. Tripadvisor, Expedia and Trip.com guests repeatedly praise the staff, cleanliness and breakfast, while racecourse-facing rooms offer the standout outlook. It’s a strong pick for central Bengaluru business trips or a comfortable city break, with a rooftop pool, spa and gym adding substance beyond the corporate basics.

The main caveat is refurbishment: Marriott still advertises an ongoing transformation involving food-and-beverage outlets and banquet spaces, although it also says refurbished areas and an upgraded lounge are welcoming guests. Confirm exactly what remains affected before booking; earlier guests reported lobby work without major disturbance, but that cannot guarantee your dates. We’d skip it if you want certainty that all public spaces are fully finished.

• Best for: central Bengaluru business trips; travelers who value attentive service; city breaks with racecourse views

• Watch out for: ongoing refurbishment notice; confirm affected restaurants and public spaces; racecourse views depend on room category

• Location: Central Business District setting beside the racecourse; useful for central-city visits.

• Rooms: Comfortable, well-maintained rooms draw consistent praise; choose a racecourse-facing category for the outlook.

• Cleanliness: A clear strength across Tripadvisor, Booking.com, Expedia and Trip.com.

• Service: Warm, helpful staff are the strongest recurring positive, with occasional reports of slower service.

• Amenities: Marriott lists a rooftop outdoor pool, spa, gym and dining; confirm access during refurbishment.

• Fees and surprises: On-site and valet parking are complimentary; airport transfers cost extra, and lounge access depends on eligibility.
