Axel's take: 6.3/10

A handy Koramangala base, but housekeeping and maintenance make it a conditional pick. a no-frills 3-star budget hotel in Koramangala, scored for what it is.

Octave Studio is a no-frills 3-star budget hotel whose strongest selling point is Koramangala’s restaurants, pubs and shopping nearby. It can work for a short, location-first stay: positive reviews praise helpful staff and comfortable rooms, and Expedia lists free Wi-Fi and parking. Some rooms are sold as studios with kitchenettes, but this is a basic hotel rather than a dependable serviced-apartment setup.

The drawback is inconsistent upkeep. May–July 2026 MakeMyTrip guests repeatedly describe dirty bathrooms, stained linen and malfunctioning equipment; several May–June guests also reported a broken lift, so confirm it is working before arrival. Expedia’s recent feedback is mixed too, despite better older reviews. We’d consider it only if convenience outweighs comfort, and skip it for families or anyone expecting reliably clean, well-maintained rooms.

• Best for: budget travelers prioritizing Koramangala; short, location-first stays

• Watch out for: recurring bathroom and linen cleanliness complaints; lift failures reported in May–June 2026; compact rooms and inconsistent maintenance

• Location: Convenient Koramangala 7th Block setting near restaurants, pubs and Nexus Mall.

• Rooms: Compact doubles and kitchenette studios; recent guests report uneven condition and faulty equipment.

• Cleanliness: Positive reports coexist with repeated 2026 complaints about bathrooms, sheets and towels.

• Service: Helpful staff earn praise, but cleaning requests and problem handling receive uneven feedback.

• Amenities: Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, laundry and free parking are listed; confirm kitchenette equipment and lift operation.

• Fees and surprises: A check-in deposit and extra-person charges may apply; confirm arrival times because listings differ.
