Axel's take: 6.3/10

Convenient for Koramangala nights out, but cleanliness and noise make it a compromise. a basic 3-star hotel in Koramangala’s nightlife district, scored for what it is.

Hotel Empire International, now also listed as Noor Empire, is a basic 3-star whose strongest asset is its Koramangala location. Restaurants, shops and nightlife are close, and Tripadvisor and Booking.com guests repeatedly appreciate the convenience. There’s an in-house restaurant and room service, while many guests praise helpful staff. It’s a practical option for a short, location-first stay rather than somewhere to expect polished comfort.

The compromises are substantial: guests across sites describe loud nearby clubs, compact or tired rooms and uneven service. More concerning, cockroach complaints recur in Agoda reviews and May–June 2026 stays on ixigo, despite other guests reporting clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast also divides opinion, and advertised parking needs checking directly. We’d skip it for light sleepers, travelers prioritizing dependable cleanliness, or anyone expecting a consistently comfortable family stay.

  • Best for: nightlife-focused short stays; travelers prioritizing Koramangala’s restaurants and shops

  • Watch out for: late-night club noise; recurring cockroach and housekeeping complaints; uncertain car-parking arrangements

  • Location: Convenient 5th Block setting near restaurants, shops and pubs; nightlife is both the attraction and the drawback.

  • Rooms: Basic air-conditioned rooms; repeated reports of compact layouts, aging fittings and intrusive noise.

  • Cleanliness: Mixed: clean-room praise sits alongside recurring cockroach reports, including May–June 2026 stays.

  • Service: Helpful staff earn praise, but room-service delays and dismissive reception also recur.

  • Amenities: Restaurant, room service and free Wi-Fi are listed; breakfast is uneven and Wi-Fi feedback is mixed.

  • Fees and surprises: Confirm breakfast inclusion and actual car parking; recent guests dispute advertised on-site parking.
