Use this page-supplied URL; do not invent or look up internal IDs. Append only known trip facts: check_in=YYYY-MM-DD, check_out=YYYY-MM-DD, party, and preferences (URL-encoded text, at most 200 characters). Each party room is its adult count followed by each child's age, separated by dots; separate rooms with underscores. Example: party=2.7_1.0.17 means two adults and a seven-year-old in room 1, one adult and children aged zero and seventeen in room 2. Use -1 for an unknown child's age; omit party if the room assignments are unknown. Never guess dates, ages or room assignments. Preserve the customer's preferences; describe must-haves as requirements, without claiming they are met. Omit unknown fields; Axel asks for missing stay details. Prefer a supplied selected-stay link if it matches the latest request. Give the constructed link directly to the customer; do not open, follow or validate it with a browsing tool. A browsing-tool refusal does not mean the customer link is broken. Clicking opens this hotel’s details and rooms for the stay. Email is needed only at booking. No contact or payment information belongs in the URL.

Optional: inspect rooms and rates at Hotel Adonis. Use known dates and guests; selecting a room or rate is optional.

Axel's take: 8.0/10

A strong sightseeing base with rooftop Acropolis views, but decidedly compact rooms. a simple 2-star hotel in central Plaka, scored for what it is.

Hotel Adonis is a simple 2-star in Plaka, and we'd pick it for exploring Athens rather than spending much time indoors. Its walkable location near Syntagma and the ancient sights is the main draw; the rooftop breakfast terrace and evening bar add Acropolis views. Booking.com and Tripadvisor guests repeatedly praise the location, helpful staff and generally clean rooms. For a short, sightseeing-heavy stay, it delivers well for its class.

The compromises are space and polish. Small bedrooms and especially cramped bathrooms recur across reviews, with limited room for luggage and toiletries. Breakfast earns more consistent praise for its setting than its food, and some guests report noise through walls or an uneven reception welcome. We'd skip it if spacious bathrooms, dependable quiet or upscale finishes matter more than location.

Best for: first-time Athens sightseers; couples traveling light; short stays without a car
Watch out for: very compact rooms and bathrooms; some reports of internal noise; confirm payment arrangements before arrival
Location: Central Plaka setting, walkable to Syntagma, restaurants and major archaeological sights.
Rooms: Basic, air-conditioned rooms with balconies; space, particularly in bathrooms, is the recurring limitation.
Cleanliness: Generally praised across sources, though individual recent guests report bathroom-condition problems.
Service: Helpfulness attracts substantial praise, with some less welcoming front-desk experiences.
Amenities: Rooftop breakfast area and bar, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception and a small elevator.
Fees and surprises: Booking.com lists cash-only settlement and paid airport transfers; confirm payment terms directly. No on-site parking.
