Axel's take: 8.6/10
A strong safari stopover with caring staff, but an out-of-town location. A small, simple 3-star guesthouse on Arusha’s outskirts, scored for what it is.
Korona Villa is a small, simple 3-star guesthouse in Njiro, and it’s a strong pick before or after a safari. Booking.com guests in 2025 and 2026 repeatedly praise helpful staff, comfortable rooms and good breakfasts; Expedia feedback also supports its cleanliness and friendly service. The small outdoor pool and on-site meals make it more useful than a basic overnight stop. For its class, it offers very good comfort and value without pretending to be a luxury lodge.
The main compromise is location: this is not a walk-out-and-explore base for central Arusha. Expect to arrange taxis or tuk-tuks, although guests say staff help with transport. Room-size feedback varies, and the pool is better for a quick dip than serious swimming. We’d skip it for a city-centered stay, but choose it for a straightforward safari stopover.
